The following is an introduction to common fabric materials.

Cotton cloth: the advantage is that it is easy to keep warm, soft and close to the body, hygroscopicity, and air permeability are very good.  The disadvantage is that it is easy to shrink and wrinkle.

Linen: The advantages are extremely high strength, moisture absorption, heat conduction, and excellent air permeability.  The disadvantage is that it is not very comfortable to wear, rough and stiff.

Silk: light, fit, soft, smooth, breathable, colorful, lustrous, noble and elegant, comfortable to wear.  The downside is that it is prone to wrinkles, easy to absorb, not strong enough, and fades quickly.

Woolen: The advantages are wrinkle-resistant and wear-resistant, soft to the touch, elegant and crisp, full of elasticity, and strong in warmth retention.  The main disadvantage is that it is more difficult to wash, and it is a bit irritating to the skin.

Chemical fiber: the advantages are bright colors, soft texture, crisp drape, smooth and comfortable.  The disadvantage is that the wear resistance, heat resistance, moisture absorption and air permeability are poor, and it is easy to deform when exposed to heat, and it is easy to generate static electricity.
